MAGICC

CLC is currently involved in a three-year (2011-2014) educational project MAGICC (Modularising Multilingual and Multicultural Academic Communication Competence), which is a part of an ERASMUS project, implemented under the EU Lifelong Learning Program and co-financed by the European Commission.

Partners: Poznan University of Technology, University of Jyväskylä (Finland), The Open University (UK), the University of Groningen (Netherlands), the University of Algarve (Portugal), the University of Fribourg (Switzerland), Babes-Bolyai ‘University (Romania) , the University of Bremen (Germany), and Free University Berlin (Germany).

The project focuses on issues common to many nations, the effects of the education process, relevant supporting activities, forms of assessment, as well as reference points for the criteria and levels of language competence at European level. The project involves 9 universities and is coordinated by the University of Lausanne (Switzerland).
