Objectives:

Certified Examinations Team brings together experienced language instructors and lecturers from the Centre of Languages and Communication at Poznan University of Technology, specializing in teaching English and German. The objective of the unit is to organize examinations confirming language competence in general, business, academic, and ESP English, as well as to enable interested candidates to obtain formal confirmation of their language proficiency in the form of a certificate. The unit's offer is addressed to employees and first-, second-, and third-cycle students of Poznan University of Technology, as well as to all individuals interested in taking an examination, including those from outside the university.

Tasks:

• organization and administration of the commercial ACERT examination at B2 and C1 levels;
• administration of Linguaskill examination sessions;
• organization and administration of the Goethe-Test PRO: Deutsch für den Beruf examination;
• cooperation with the Goethe-Institut in Warsaw in organizing the German language examination;
• offering preparatory courses for the Goethe-Test PRO examination;
• promotion of the IELTS examination, as well as providing the examination venue and technical supervision of examination sessions;
• issuing certificates confirming foreign language proficiency;
• promotion of certified examinations among students and employees of Poznan University of Technology;
• cooperation with Cambridge Assessment English, Lang LTC, Pearson, and the Goethe-Institut;

Projects and initiatives:

• establishing cooperation with ETS Global in order to introduce the TOEFL examination into the team's offer;
• in the winter semester of the 2025/2026 academic year, in cooperation with the CLC PR team, an information campaign concerning the Goethe-Test PRO: Deutsch für den Beruf examination was conducted among students of Poznan University of Technology. The campaign "Take the Goethe-Test PRO: Deutsch für den Beruf and test your German!" attracted considerable interest.
